Our Stallions

Midnight Cowboy

"Cowboy" as we like to call him truly has us convinced that Rocky Mountain Horses have the right temperament. We purchased him when he was just a little tyke and have raised him using only natural horsemanship methods. Our children have a healthy natural third eye when around him just to be on the safe side; however, it's fair to say that he has never exhibited the often frightful characteristics of a stallion. We often ride him along side our mare (in a rope halter) regardless of her cycle and he simply behaves. He was born with the "Natural Gait" characteristic of the Rockies and he rides like a dream. His gait and lope are so smooth that we've often wanted to try and ride him with no reins and hold a cup of coffee. And someday we will try it...

Cowboy is now certified to breed.

Although stallions are not allowed in Parelli clinics, Cowboy acquired his Level 1 status with only two weeks of training. He is willing and eager to please and learn.

Take those traits along with a correct confirmation and we end up with an awesome horse. What else could we ask for!
